Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) carefully before accessing or using our Course Booking Page (“Service”). This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for using the Service provided by Backbone Pte. Ltd. (“Provider”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree with any part of the Agreement, then you may not access the Service.
- Service Description
The Service allows users to browse and book courses offered by the Provider. The Provider reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service, or any part thereof, with or without notice.
- Eligibility
To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years old or have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By accessing or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements.
- Course Booking
- Availability: The availability of courses displayed on the Service is subject to change without prior notice. The Provider does not guarantee the availability of any specific course.
- Booking Process: To book a course, you must provide accurate and complete information as requested on the Service’s booking form. By submitting a booking request, you agree to pay the applicable fees and any associated taxes or charges.
- Confirmation: Course bookings are considered confirmed only upon receipt of payment and confirmation from the Provider. The Provider reserves the right to reject or cancel a booking at its discretion.
- Payment: Payment for course bookings may be processed through secure third-party payment gateways. You agree to provide valid payment information and authorise the Provider to charge the total amount due.
- Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation by User: If you need to cancel a course booking, you must notify the Provider in writing via email at hello@backbone.sg. A full refund will be allowed if cancellation is made at least 15 days prior to the course date. No refund will be given for cancellation made within 14 days. Replacement of participant is allowed at no additional charge.
- Cancellation by Provider: The Provider reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the Provider will offer alternative dates or a full refund of any fees paid.
- Intellectual Property
All course materials, including but not limited to content, curriculum, and resources, provided by the Provider are protected by intellectual property laws and are the exclusive property of the Provider. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any course materials without prior written consent from the Provider.
- Limitation of Liability
The Provider shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service or any course booked through the Service. This limitation of liability applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
- Privacy
The Provider’s Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information provided by users of the Service. By using the Service, you consent to the Provider’s collection and use of your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- Modifications
The Provider reserves the right to update or modify this Agreement at any time without prior notice. Any changes to the Agreement will be effective immediately upon posting on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications shall constitute your consent to such changes.
- Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Singapore.
